Electrical Lugged Butterfly Valve
When the transmission mechanism of the convex ear butterfly valve rotates, the bearing will drive the valve plate to rotate and convert the rotational motion into linear motion through the convex ear. In this way, it is possible to control the flow rate of the medium. When the valve plate is in the open state, the medium can pass through smoothly; When the valve plate is in the closed state, the medium cannot pass through.
Structural Features
- Lugged Body Design: The valve body features threaded inserts (lugs) around its perimeter, allowing for secure and easy installation into the piping system. This design is particularly beneficial for end-of-line service and systems requiring frequent maintenance.
- Electric Actuator: The electric actuator is mounted on the valve, providing automated control over the valve’s operation. This actuator can be controlled remotely, allowing for precise flow regulation and system integration.
Applications
- Chemical Processing: The precise control and remote operation capabilities are essential for maintaining accurate flow rates and ensuring safe operation in chemical processing plants.
- Water and Wastewater Treatment: Electric lugged butterfly valves provide reliable and automated flow control, which is critical for efficient water and wastewater treatment processes.
- HVAC Systems: These valves are used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to regulate air and fluid flow, contributing to system efficiency and energy savings.
- Power Generation: In power plants, electric lugged butterfly valves are used to control cooling and process water flows, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
